Ethylene-oxide sterilized with a shelf life of five years, it offers permanent tensile strength and minimal tissue reactivity. The smooth, biologically inert surface reduces tissue drag and avoids adherence, while its high plasticity and knot security make it ideal for running and subcuticular closures.
