Lorviqua 25mg Tablet contains lorlatinib. It is used to treat a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It is specifically used to treat NSCLC in patients with abnormal ALK gene (anaplastic lymphoma kinase). Cancer is a condition where cells replicate in an uncontrolled and abnormal manner.
Talk to your doctor if you have high cholesterol, pancreas problems, heart issues, diabetes, kidney problems, seizures, depression, chest pain, shortness of breath, or have ever had a lung condition called pneumonitis before taking Lorviqua 25mg Tablet.
Use effective birth control during the treatment and for at least six months after the last dose. Do not drink grapefruit juice during the treatment with Lorviqua 25mg Tablet. You need to talk to your doctor if you have any intolerance to certain sugars as this medication contains lactose.
