Introduction OF ABEC L TABLETS:

Abec-L Tablet is a combination of Abacavir and Lamivudine, serving as an antiviral medication used for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, a condition that weakens the immune system, hindering the body's ability to fight infections or illnesses.

Abec-L Tablet does not cure HIV infection, but it delays the progression of a chronic, potentially life-threatening condition known as AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) and other HIV-related conditions. The medication works by preventing the virus from replicating. Abec-L Tablet may exhibit some side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, headache, confusion, dizziness, trouble sleeping, etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen over an extended period. Refrain from taking this medication if you are allergic to it.

Abec-L Tablet can be taken with or without food. Follow the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor, and do not exceed the recommended dose. Take it consistently at the same time to maintain a consistent level of the medication in your blood. Do not discontinue this medication without consulting your doctor, as it may worsen your condition.

Abec-L Tablet may not be suitable for everyone and is not recommended for use in children weighing under 25 kg. Inform your doctor if you have heart, liver, or kidney problems or any other medical conditions. Additionally, inform your doctor about all your ongoing medications to avoid undesired effects.

Abec-L Tablet is not recommended for use during pregnancy, as it poses risks. Consult your doctor if you are breastfeeding. If you have an HIV infection, it is not advisable to breastfeed, as the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) may be transmitted to the baby through breast milk.

USES of Abec-L Tablet:
