Introduction of Prilox Cream:
Prilox Cream is a combination of two local anesthetic medications that help desensitize the area where it is applied. It is used on intact skin to prevent pain before certain procedures such as needle insertion, stitching of a wound, etc.
Prilox Cream works by temporarily numbing the skin and the surrounding area. It should be used in the dosage and duration advised by your doctor. This medication is for external use only. Ensure that the affected area is clean and dry before applying this medication. Apply a thin layer and rub it gently to form a layer of around 2-3mm. Afterward, apply an occlusive dressing to preserve the area. Keep the dressing for a minimum of 2 hours before any planned treatment or surgery. Do not get it in your eyes or mouth. In case of accidental exposure, rinse thoroughly with water.
