Myo Pyrolate Injection is given to reverse the effects of some of the drugs that were used during surgery such as anesthetics and skeletal muscle relaxants. It is administered in a hospital setting by a doctor or nurse and should never be self-administered.
Mechanism of action of Myo Pyrolate Injection:
Myo Pyrolate Injection is a combination of two medications: Glycopyrrolate and Neostigmine. Neostigmine is a cholinesterase inhibitor used at the end of surgery to reverse the effects of certain drugs used during surgery such as muscle relaxants and anesthetics. Glycopyrrolate is an anticholinergic which is added to prevent the unwanted effects of Neostigmine, such as decreased heart rate and excess saliva production.
